Terrible Two? Try Terrible THREE!!

I know what you're thinking, face of an angel, right?

WRONG!

Since hitting the big 3 my niece is being such a little stinker! Don't get me wrong, I love her to the end of the earth and back. That doesn't change the fact that she is such a lil' Drama Queen with a capital Q! haha. She threw a fit this morning because instead of getting coffee at Beans n' Brew, my sister went to Starbucks instead. Then, she got mad because I was going to lunch with my sister and her today. Talk about a smack in the face!

Terrible Two?? Clever, if it were true. My poor sister thinking once three hit she was past the worst of it. PSYCH! That was the calm before the storm. We'll have another talk when adolescence hits.

Hannah Montana the Movie!

If you've been reading my blog you know how much Berlin LOVES Hannah Montana. My sister and I remodeled her room into a Hannah Montana bedroom, she had a Hannah Montana themed birthday party, She knows all of Hannah Montana's songs, and she'll only wear clothes that have Hannah on them. Well, my sister and I took Berlin to see the Hannah Montana movie for the FOURTH time. This was my first time seeing this movie and I was in shock. Berlin NEVER sits still for movies. EVER. And even after seeing the movie three times previously she still sat in her seat and didn't move a muscle the entire time. She didn't say a single word unless she was singing along to the songs. For those of you who have a 3 year old daughter or niece you know how absolutely incredible this is. Toddlers are like little energizer bunnies, they never slow down. Now I have to admit I quite like Hannah Montana. Not gonna lie. :) I watch the show all the time, even when I'm not with my niece. I'm not ashamed to say it. I think its really cute and hilarious. The movie was really good I thought. But, I also love anything Disney. There's also this total babe in the movie who's probably 16, but I don't care. haha. He's hot.

All in all, it was a cute lil' movie that immature adults like my sister and I can enjoy, as well as little kids. Should you decide you want to go see this spectacular film, it's currently playing in the dollar theater for your enjoyment.

Berlin is Three!

My lil' hellion of a niece, Berlin, is now three years old. My sister rented a bounce house for the day of her party and Berlin absolutely loved it. She was purposely running into the walls and falling down. I have a video of her and I going down the slide but for some reason I can't get it to upload onto my blog. You can go onto my facebook and watch it if you so desire. Berlin was being such a lil' stinker! She had all of her little friends there but she gets so SHY! She was clinging to Lacey and my Dad pretty much the whole time. Even during the pinata she was super shy and my sister had to help her swing the bat. My dad BBQ'd his amazing hamburgers. If you've ever tasted these things I'm sure you'll agree they are the best tasting hamburgers on the face of the planet. :) Of course, Berlin's birthday had a Hannah Montana theme to it. My sister even got a cardboard cut out of Hannah, I think it freaked everyone out. Ryan, my sisters husband, is clearly a HUGE Fan of Hannah. He couldn't stay away from her charming good looks all night. ;). My sister got a huge Hannah Montana birthday cake, and just about every present she got for her birthday was something to do with Hannah. A Hannah chair, A Hannah doll, A Hannah purse, A Hannah necklace, Hannah clothes... you name it, Berlin owns it. I just can't believe my lil' Bean and Cheese Berlito is already three years old. She's growing up so fast and I HATE it. I want her to stay little forever. Now I get why my grandma and aunts would always tell me every birthday that I need to stop getting older. It's sad but it's so exciting! She's not a baby anymore, she's her own lil' person with a big personality. Berlin is a little comedian when she's not being shy. Well, time for some more pictures. Enjoy!

The Perks of Being a Wallflower

I just got done reading "The Perks of Being a Wallflower" for, what feels like, the 100th time. If you haven't read this book, I strongly recommend that you do. It's a short book and very easy to get through. It's letters from this boy named Charlie. Charlie is starting high school and is writing letters to an anonymous person because, he says, "I just need to know that someone out there listens and understands and doesn't try to sleep with people even if they could have." I will never get sick of this book, Charlie has a special place in my heart.

This book will take you back to high school, back to your first love, back to your first real party, back to those moments when you felt "infinite". It will make you laugh and cry and it will make you remember how naive and innocent you once were. It will make you appreciate the "weird" kid in school. This book reminds me that no matter how bad life is, it's not how you fall but how you pick yourself back up.

Berlin's first hair cut!

I can't believe it!! My sister cut Berlin's hair into a short lil' A line! Her hair was getting so long! Now it's all gone! But still super cute. My sister said Berlin would never let her do her hair. She'd rip out all her ponies and braids! So, Lacey said she had no choice. I love the cut, but can't wait for it to grow out.

OH, big news! Berlin turns the big THREE on the 30th of June. It's almost here!!!

Whit's Nuptuals

My beloved lil' JAB VP, Whitney, is now married.
For those of you who don't know what JAB is, it's where the majority of the best school year of my life was spent. JAB, or Jordan Activities board, was where Nicole, Spencer, Jessalyn, Josh, John, Whitney, and I got to goof around and put together school activities. We had so much fun together, we were a little family. Memories of Whitney singing "Leaving on a Jet Plane" like a creepy old woman, John yelling out "GO JAB!" in the middle of EVERY class, and having sleep overs in the student pavilion for karaoke night, will stay with me forever.

GO JAB!

Well, Miss whitney was our VP on JAB and she got HITCHED!!
Her wedding was so beautiful! We had some fun decorating her moms car with whip creme, marshmallows, and oreo's. Oh, and of course a few condoms. :)Her wedding felt like a mini JAB reunion (minus John who's partying it up in the dirty south). I absolutely approve and love her new hubby, Shane. I'm just sad she's moving to south carolina for good! this just means JAB road trip!
